For the past five years or more I have been traveling the mighty rivers, rugged plains, high mountains and western coastlines of the country writing songs. Lived in sheds, on floors, freezing cold vans, windowless lock ups and occasionally in houses. The long journey started aeons ago in the backwoods out in the Ancient country, via New York, The Great American West and now at the edge of the Pacific.

Recently I have appeared on National Television, recorded with a platinum selling artist and had my songs performed at the National Museum. I am in the process of recording a new album of strong songs. Whilst the music is written, the project needs further production and the narrative and visual elements are slowly beginning to come together. I have however removed all of the production process mixes and blog posts – so all that remains on this blog are the roughest of old demo recordings.

The “BlogAtomic Jukebox” is just a blog about music in general – it’s the best place to begin.

Lots of new photographs from a trip around Aotearoa are appearing on the photo page.
